Two Minute Practices: Cold Water Therapy

Ending the shower with a blast of cold water for 10 seconds to a minute (or as long as you can handle) is a bracing way to really feel in your body. Cold water immersion increases blood flow, giving you a rush of energy and a heightened sense of awareness of your body’s sensations. It also reduces inflammation, gives you a shot of endorphins and can even boost your immune system!
