Apply a generous amount of oil to your body, ideally on slightly damp skin after a bath or shower. Start at your feet and ankles and work your way up towards your neck and face. Take time to notice how each area feels as you massage it.
Use this as an opportunity to give attention to areas of your body that feel out of sorts, tight, tense or underappreciated. If you don’t have lots of time, try to focus on massaging a different area of your body each day for a few minutes. It’s a small act, but you’ll still get a better connection with your body and a release of tension.
