CERTIFIED ORGANIC
All ingredients are COSMOS Certified Organic by Europe’s leading organisation, which examines the quality and sustainability of the ingredients, transportation, storage and packaging. Our All-Over-Oil is 99% organic – the remaining 1% covers the addition of Palo Santo oil, which is exclusively wild harvested and, therefore, cannot be certified organic.

The noncomedogenic blends are suitable for all skin types from sensitive or dry to oily, combination and acne-prone – leaving skin replenished with a luxurious velvety finish.

PLANT FOR THE PLANET
Each month, a portion of our profits is donated to Plant-For-The-Planet, a non-profit organisation focused on reforestation, and education on climate change. At Plant-for-the-Planet Academies, 90,000 children have become Climate Justice Ambassadors, exploring the critical topics of the climate crisis and global justice.

THE TEXTURE
A silky, lightweight oil that is quickly and easily absorbed, leaving skin looking healthy and glowing, but not greasy.

SCENT
Grounding, warming, spicy, uplifting, zesty, and very slightly sweet.

USING ESSENTIAL OILS
Our essential oils are 100% organic, plant-derived and sustainably-sourced. Each ingredient is third-party tested for safety and stability. All-Over-Oil oil is enriched with thoughtful and hardworking natural ingredients, however, these can be distinctive and powerful – if you experience any sensitivity, discontinue use. Infants & toddlers are more sensitive to the potency of essential oils, so we recommend using this oil on children 5+.

SHELF LIFE
Unopened: 2 years. Once opened, please use your oil within 6-9 months. To preserve the integrity of the natural ingredients, we recommend storing your oil in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.

RECYCLING
Our bottles are made from recycled glass, with a bamboo, paper and part-plastic cap. As with any glass bottle, we encourage you to recycle once finished. Or even better, repurpose! We love to fill our empties with freshly cut flowers to brighten up our bathrooms.

HOW TO USE AS A BODY OIL (fully moisturise in under a minute!)

The quickest and most effective way to use All-Over-Oil on the body is to apply liberally, immediately after showering or bathing. Massaging oil into damp skin takes the product further, allowing for maximum absorption, while also locking in moisture for long-term hydration. Pat dry any residual water with a soft cotton or linen towel, or air dry in your undies.

We love to see this brief daily ritual as a way to find presence, to fully engage, and check in with our bodies – acknowledging all our nooks, crannies, curves and creases. A chance to gently tend to any areas of stress or tension and appreciate those areas that feel good.

HOW TO USE AS AN OIL CLEANSER

  1. Apply oil to dry skin, all over face and neck.
  2. Wet a corner of a washcloth with warm water – avoid hot!
  3. Add a few drops of oil to the damp portion of the cloth before massaging into the face and neck, moving in languid circles for light exfoliation.
  4. Rinsing is optional.

NOTES

  • If you have time, let the oil soak into the skin for around 30 seconds after the first application.
  • Always ensure you use a clean muslin or cotton washcloth each time you cleanse.
  • Move the cloth in light, lazy circles – no need to be vigorous as the weave of the cloth will provide a natural and gentle exfoliation.
  • Any oil left on the skin will hydrate and feed the skin, so no need to wash away completely.
  • If you feel you need more moisture after cleansing, massage a few extra drops of oil into your face and neck.

All-Over-Oil is to be enjoyed every day, all over, for all skin types – from dry, sensitive and itchy to oily and acne-prone.

OILY OR ACNE-PRONE
It is a common misconception that those with oily or acne-prone skin should avoid using oils. In fact, the opposite is true! By embracing and working with your skin’s natural oils, you will spark the healing and regeneration process needed to reset and balance your skin. We recommend avoiding any harsh, stripping cleansers, acids and exfoliators, and instead simplify your routine – using the All-Over-Oil for 3-4 weeks to see notable improvement. If you prefer to cleanse with a foaming wash, opt for one with gentle, natural ingredients that will not aggravate the skin’s microbiome.

DRY SKIN
All-Over-Oil softens, rejuvenates, and quenches thirsty parched skin by nourishing the skin barrier, rather than stripping or disrupting its natural pH.

SENSITIVE SKIN
Whilst this product is suitable for sensitive skin, essential oils are powerful and hardworking, and will affect unique skin types differently. If any irritation occurs, please discontinue use.

PREGNANCY
There are many differing opinions regarding the use of essential oils during pregnancy. Mount Sapo founder, Serena, enjoyed using All-Over-Oil throughout her pregnancy, with only positive results. For those looking for a little more information, authors Kurt Schnaubelt and Chrissie Wildwood highlight that there are “no recorded cases of miscarriage or birth defect resulting from the therapeutic applications of any essential oil.
